JACOB L. HOUMAND

Jacob L. Houmand’s primary practice involves the representation of Chapter 7 Trustees, Chapter 11 Trustees, and creditors in all phases of bankruptcy cases, including appeals before the U.S. District Court, the Bankruptcy Appellate Panel for the Ninth Circuit, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He has also developed a specialty in complex bankruptcy cases involving allegations of fraud and debtor misconduct.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Houmand was an associate at a large Nevada law firm and law clerk for the Honorable Richard M. Neiter, United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Central District of California. Mr. Houmand earned his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2011, where he graduated in the top ten percent of his class, was named to the Order of the Coif, and was the recipient of the Judge Barry Russell Bar Association Award for Excellence in the Field of Federal Practice.
